Will Sheppard, MD serves as Chief Innovation Officer for Parallel ENT & Allergy and was part of the founding leadership team that helped launch the organization. He provides enterprise leadership and strategic direction for innovation across Parallel. In this role, he helps advance innovation strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and support the development of practical solutions that help physicians and staff deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
Dr. Sheppard is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon at ENT & Allergy of Delaware, where he has practiced in Wilmington since 2002. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. As one of the founding partners of ENT & Allergy of Delaware, he has helped guide the practice’s growth into one of the leading physician groups in the region, supported by its partnership with Parallel.
Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Sheppard graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 1993 and then graduated with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997. While at MUSC, he was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, served as President of the Honor Council, and was elected class President during his third and fourth years.
Dr. Sheppard completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2002. During residency, he was named Surgical Intern of the Year, served as Chief Resident, and published research on Meniere’s disease.
In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Sheppard has lectured on a range of ENT topics to practicing physicians, residents, medical students, and the public. He remains committed to building physician-led models that support high-quality patient care, strong local practices, and long-term growth across Parallel ENT & Allergy.
