A Year of Growth, Recognition, and Partnership
2025 was a year of coming together as our platform practices chose to unite under a single EMR tool. With speed and agility our team was able to quickly transition our partners into their chosen tool, ModMed. This major accomplishment took place in just four short months highlighting not only the speed of the MSO team but also the tremendous collaboration with our partners. This transition improves documentation, coding, and the patient experience by allowing the roll out of more digital tools. The single platform accelerated the use of online scheduling and AI tools to improve both the patient and provider experience. Welcoming Asthma & Allergy Associates of Michigan
We began 2025 by welcoming Asthma & Allergy Associates of Michigan to the Parallel family. In just four months, this new partner practice was fully onboarded significant IT, finance, marketing and operations enhancements. Two new PA-Cs also joined the team.
These onboarding efforts were tailored specifically for Asthma & Allergy Associates of Michigan, demonstrating Parallel’s commitment to providing robust non-clinical support and accelerating practice growth for new partners.
Physician Recognition & Awards
In 2025, our partner physicians received widespread recognition:
- ENT & Allergy of Delaware was named Castle Connolly’s #1 Physician Practice in Delaware and #1 for Surgery Care.
- 32 physicians across Parallel earned National Top Doctor recognition from Castle Connolly, including:
- 18 at ENT & Allergy of Delaware
- 3 at Asthma & Allergy Associates of Michigan
- 3 at Ear Institute of Texas
- 5 at Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City
- 3 at Grand Rapids Ear, Nose & Throat
- 1 at Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists
- Local honors included Hour Detroit Top Doctors, Texas Super Doctor, and Grand Rapids Magazine Top Doctors. Also in 2025, reputation KPIs soared, with aggregate star ratings up 10% and review volume up over 400%.
Leadership & Strategic Growth
2025 saw key leadership hires, including Ellen Bower, CEO, Chris Pivik (VP Corporate Development, Head of M&A), Nicole DuBois (Head of HR), Brittany Miller (SVP Implementation), Ryan Miller (Director of Finance) and Het Dalal (Controller). Parallel’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Neil Hockstein, was appointed Head of Delaware Health Commission and was named one of Delaware’s Most Distinguished Leaders by the Delaware Business Times. Leadership summits in Chicago and Florida fostered strategic planning, team building and more collaboration.
Finally, Parallel and many of our practice partners were thrilled to come together in October at the 2025 Academy of Otolaryngology Annual Meeting. The highlight of our football themed week, “Make Parallel a Part of Your Game Plan” included a happy hour and dinner with prospective partners that we look forward to working and growing with in 2026.
